capital raising

Raising capital is a skill. Here's how you learn it faster.

Most first-time founders underestimate how much fundraising is a process — not a moment. It's not about having a great idea and finding someone who gets it. It's about telling the right story, targeting the right investors, building the right materials, and running the process with discipline.

I've raised capital and exited multiple startups. I know what investors are looking for, where founders typically lose the room, and how to build a fundraising strategy that gives you the best chance of closing.

What's included

Pitch deck review and refinement Most decks bury the lead. I'll help you structure a narrative that investors actually follow — clear problem, compelling traction, credible ask.

Fundraising strategy Who to target, in what order, and how to run a process that creates momentum rather than killing it. We'll build your investor list and approach it with intention.

Investor readiness Before you start outreach, we'll pressure-test your positioning, anticipate hard questions, and make sure you're walking into conversations with confidence.

Process support Fundraising is a full-time job on top of running your company. I'll help you stay organised, move quickly, and keep deals from going cold.

Frequently asked questions

Do you invest in startups yourself? Yes — I'm an active angel investor. If your startup aligns with my investment focus, I may invest directly alongside advisory support. Capital and advice aren't mutually exclusive.

What stage do you work with? Pre-seed and seed primarily, though I've supported founders preparing for Series A as well. The earlier we start, the more we can shape the narrative before it sets.

Can you make warm introductions to investors? I have a network of investors I can introduce in the right context. Introductions are earned through preparation — I'll only make them when I'm confident you're ready.

How long does fundraising typically take? More than most founders expect. Three to six months is common for seed rounds. Part of what I help with is setting realistic expectations and building a process that doesn't stall.
